One thing that I try not to do is dog men (gasp…I know right lol). As cynical and sarcastic as I am, I don’t automatically point the finger at men when things go wrong in relationships, and at times have been a tad too blunt with friends with my honesty in certain situations. I’m a strong believer that a lot of what some women go through in relationships can be prevented by the choices they make in men. There are those instances where a seemingly nice guy hurts us, and I can be reaching here, but more times than not I, and I’m sure many of you, are left looking at our venting, hurt friends wanting to say, “I told you so”…..or in my case since I have little tact, “Bi@c# what was your m#$u#c@king a@@ thinking was going to happen???”
So, this brings me to the lovely website Don’t Date Him Girl.com. I went on there once a long time ago but it was so new back then there wasn’t much to it. Today my boyfriend showed me a few posts he was laughing at with friends (and I think they were doing some double checking lol) and he came across this gem.
I got about one sentence through and had to stop reading. First and foremost, after you know they have and I quote “3 KIDS …2 IR N 1 BOY….DONT TAKE CARE OF NONE…..HE HAS NO JOB NO CAR NO MONEY N LIVE WIT HIS MOTHA” shouldn’t that be a red alert for you to say, DON’T DATE HIM GIRL!!!!
What does he have to do, walk down the street coughing, scratching, and shaking with an IV sticking out of his arm to alert them maybe he isn’t date worthy!
I know my taste in men is a little off, but at least I have enough standards to go for men like T.I., that have 6 kids….annnnnnnnd takes care of them all, a car, home, and a job…sheesh!!! Wait….that’s not a good example. He has gun charges. Ok, well at least I have enough sense to go for men like Allen Iverson..wait doesn’t he have a reputation for cheating on his wife? Wait no that’s not a good example either. Ok, well that’s why I go for guys like Brad Pitt….wait, didn’t he leave his wife for another woman? Ok what about a man like R. Kelly, you know tall, sexy, long standing career. Wait, isn’t he on trial right now for…..Aw f#$k it! You know what I’m trying to say!
