Original Sample For That Azz

It’s been a while since I posted one of these. I usually give the artist name and ask for the title of the song that used a sampled beat, but for this one how about you tell me which artist sampled this beat and for which song. It’s not a hard one. So who sampled this song, “Invitation” by Norman Connors? Winner gets a bag of pork rinds. Mmmmmmhhmmmmmhhmmmm bitches.

Before I go, I think I have a knack for finding look-alikes. As I previously noted that Beanie Segal has a striking resemblance to Marcus Garvey, is it just me or does Norman Connors look like he can be Dr. Dre’s Daddy? I’m just saying….

MAC Make-Up Tutorials are the shiznit……..

One of my good friends put me onto this video of a MAC make-up artist that posted a ton of youtube videos where she shares tips like how to get flawless skin and getting a quick, natural look.  I always love to learn more about getting a good smokey eye so I was happy to see that there was a tutorial on that where the eye is not left too dramatic.  Check out this video where she gives a tutorial on getting Kim Kardashian esque make-up.

Yay or Nay: Chanel Gun Heel

The fact that I frequently say “If I don’t get my hands on a pair of these shoes I’m going to shoot someone” must have been overheard by Karl Lagerfeld for these shoes that debuted for his Chanel Cruise 2009 Collection a few days ago. I was on the fence about them, but after seeing this picture I actually like them in silver….the combination of the double C logo bag and pistol heel was too much for my cynical, jaded heart to bear. After all they have dual purposes, you can look cute with your bag and if anything jumps off you can pistol whip someone with your shoe.(Let me stop, if anything jumps off I would either turn Reggie Bush and hurdle my way out of danger or just faint).

Seeing this pair up close I think they look like the unfinished shoe you can buy for prom and take somewhere to have it stained to match your dress. I’m sure the girl that was banned from her prom for looking like Diamond from Player’s Ball wished she had on these that night.

On a side note, I was so happy to see Jourdan Dunn walking this show.
