I have only seen a few episodes of The Wire this season, partly because this season just didn’t hold my attention, and partly because of one single line.
The last episode that I saw was when Omar uttered my favorite line possibly in tv history (ok exaggerating a bit) “Sweet Jesus I’m Going To Work Them“.
It doesn’t matter what he was talking about or who he was going to work. The fact that Omar, a man that carries a sawed off shotgun in a trench coat goes around saying “Sweet Jesus” made me blackout and miss the rest of that episode because I was still stuck on that one line.
Anyways…since I can’t tell you more about this season than one freaking line…check Stuff White People Like for a run down on why “certain people” like the show so much.
