You know how you have that friend that repeats the same story over and over again and even when you tell them they have already told you that story they continue to tell it? Well, that’s me. But this is your first time hearing it, so make a note of that because it will not be your last.
So for every Christmas, birthday, Valentines Day, Bring Your Child to Work Day, Rush Hashanah, or any other holiday you can name…I can count on one thing…..(I know my friends are rolling their eyes now) that I am going to get a pair of house shoes from my Mom. The thing is…I HATE HOUSE SHOES! So one year, I specifically asked for the (and now I can hear my friends saying this along with me) Wu Tang Triump cd because that’s all I wanted that Christmas. So, you can imagine how confused I was when I opened my gift to find a pair of GD house shoes and not The Gza, The Rza, Inspectah Deck, U God, Raekwon The Chef…and about 500 other NY residents in my hands. So…long story short, I’m thinking for Christmas this year I’m going to give this to my Mom because she will truly appreciate it. And, from now on, I am going to say rec-og-in-i-tion as much as possible.
