There’s always that one item that every fashionista wants. Seeing as though my fashion wants allows exceeded my pockets, I had to…and I stress had to…learn to look for more reasonable prices for hot items. At one time, I just HAD to have the “Manono” timberland boots and immediately bought the Steve Madden knockoffs until they were further duplicated in more colors than a pack of Now n Laters at every Rainbow clothing store imaginable. Even though now I can spend more on my clothes, I prefer to find quality pieces that “look” like the upscale item for a fraction of the price.
Louboutins trademark red leather sole singles them out in the crowd making them instantly recognizable…and luckily you can find knock off Christian Louboutin’s through brands like Oh Deer that look like Christian Louboutins due to their red sole, but at a more reasonable price.
Oh Deers shoes are so comparable, Louboutin has a lawsuit out against them and is even trying to trademark his famous red bottom sole. If that happens, I’ll be forced to make a sole cut out of a red place-mat and pray for no rainy days and years of embarrassment for being known as the girl with homemade red bottoms.
